MISS RUSS' CLASS LEARNS ABOUT ASIA

March 3 , 2009 - Miss Russ: Miss Russ' class has been learning about Asia. We each researched a country and worked in groups to create projects. We painted the flag, drew the outline, and wrote down facts for each country.

CANINE COMPANION VISITS SECOND GRADERS

February 24, 2009 - In February, puppy raiser Ms. Marty Marlatt and her Canine Companion-in-Training, Ikia, visited the second grade students at Windermere for the second time this school year. If his training goes well, one day Ikia will serve as companion dog for a deaf person or a person in a wheel chair. Just as Ikia is growing and learning, so are our second graders!

MRS. DOBIES' CLASS ENJOYS VALENTINE'S DAY!

February 24, 2009 - Mrs. Dobies¹ students loved Valentine¹s Day! Our parents did a wonderful
job of planning the party. Before the party, each student typed a compliment for another student and made it into a Valentine card for that classmate.
