• An Upper Arlington City Schools program since 1983. • Licensed by the Ohio Department of Education. • Accredited by the National Academy of Early Childhood Programs since 1988. The Academy is a division of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), the nation's largest organization for early childhood educators.  Criterion for high quality programming are met through a large scale internal self study with external professional review. BECS is an award winning school. Most recently the recipient of the 1997 Ohio department of Education and the Irene Bandy-Hedden Award recognizing high quality early childhood programs.
